Sermon: Breaking the Chains of Evil Powers and Spirits 1

Spiritual warfare is a reality in the life of every believer. The Bible makes it clear that we are not just battling physical entities but also spiritual forces that seek to hinder God’s purpose for our lives. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

WHAT ARE EVIL POWERS AND SPIRITS?

Evil powers and spirits are real entities that oppose God’s kingdom, influence human lives negatively, and seek to enslave people in sin, fear, and oppression. However, through the victory of Christ on the cross, these powers have been defeated. Colossians 2:15 declares, "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

EVIL POWERS AND SPIRITS 

●Familiar spirits 

What Are Familiar Spirits?

Familiar spirits are demonic entities that seek to influence, deceive, and control individuals by imitating or counterfeiting divine guidance. These spirits often work through divination, witchcraft, and mediums, pretending to offer wisdom or supernatural insight. Their ultimate goal is to lead people away from God and into bondage.

How Do Familiar Spirits Operate?

•Through divination and witchcraft – Familiar spirits operate through fortune tellers, mediums, psychics, and other occult practices. They deceive people by giving partial truths mixed with lies to gain their trust and control them.

•By masquerading as the dead – Many people believe they are communicating with deceased loved ones, but in reality, familiar spirits impersonate the dead to deceive and manipulate.

•By attaching to family bloodlines – These spirits often work generationally, passing through family lines, bringing recurring patterns of bondage, such as addiction, rebellion, or misfortune.

•Through false prophets and false religions – Familiar spirits influence false teachers and deceptive religious practices, leading people away from the truth of God’s word.

•By exploiting weaknesses and fears – They gain access through fear, trauma, or unrepented sin, slowly gaining influence over a person's thoughts and actions.

What Does the Bible Say About Familiar Spirits?

The Bible strongly warns against engaging with familiar spirits and forbids consulting mediums, witches, or necromancers.

•God commands His people not to seek guidance from familiar spirits because it defiles them.

-Leviticus 19:31, "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God."

•People who are involved with familiar spirits are considered evil in God’s sight.

-2 Chronicles 33:6, "And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger."

•Seeking familiar spirits brings separation from God.

-Leviticus 20:6,"And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people."

•People should seek the living God, instead of seeking familiar spirits and the dead.

-Isaiah 8:19,"And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?"

•Dealing with familiar spirits was punishable by death in the old Testament.

-Leviticus 20:27,"A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them."

•Engaging with familiar spirits provokes God’s anger.

-2 Kings 21:6,"And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger."

•Saul's decision to seek guidance from a familiar spirit contributed to his destruction.

-1 Chronicles 10:13,"So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it."

How to Break Free from the Influence of familiar spirits through Jesus Christ

•Repent and renounce all connections – Confess any involvement with familiar spirits, even unknowingly, and renounce them in Jesus’ name.

-Acts 3:19,"Repent therefore and be converted,that your sins may be blotted out..."

•Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior – Only Jesus has the power to break every chain and set captives free.

 -John 8:36,"Therefore if the son makes you free,you shall be free indeed."

•Destroy occult objects and cut ties – Remove anything associated with familiar spirits, such as occult books, idols, or symbols.

-Acts 19:19,"Also,many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all.."

•Pray for deliverance and cover yourself with the blood of Jesus – Engage in spiritual warfare by praying against these spirits and declaring the power of Jesus over them.

-Ephesians 6:11-18," Put on the whole armor of God,that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.....Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit.."

•Be filled with the Holy Spirit – Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and empower you daily to resist demonic influences.

 -Galatians 5:16,"Walk in the Spirit,and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

•Surround yourself with Godly fellowship – Stay connected to a Bible-believing church and godly mentors to strengthen your walk with God

 -Hebrews 10:25,"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some,but exhorting one another..."

•Speak the word of God over your life – Declare the promises of God over your life,resist the devil and reject every lie of the enemy.

-James 4:7,"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

●Ancestral spirits 

What are ancestral spirits?

 These are evil powers that stem from the spirits of deceased family members or spirits of ancestors, often linked to family curses or generational sins.

These are powers that operate in a person’s family line, influencing the individual’s life through spiritual inheritance from either the father’s or mother’s side.

These spirits are thought to pass down behaviors, tendencies, and sometimes curses or blessings from generation to generation.

In a biblical context, these spirits are often linked to demonic influence, generational curses, and idolatry.

How Does Ancestral Spirits Operate?

Ancestral spirits are believed to operate by influencing individuals in their bloodline, causing them to fall into repeated cycles of sin, illness, misfortune, or unfulfilled lives. They may operate through:

•Through Generational Curses: When ancestors engage in idolatry, witchcraft, or other sinful practices, it can open the door for demonic spirits to afflict their descendants

-Lamentations 5:7,"Our fathers sinned and are no more,but we bear their iniquities. "

•Through Familiar Spirits: These spirits masquerade as deceased loved ones to deceive people into spiritual bondage.

 -Leviticus 19:31,"Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits;do not seek after them to be defiled by them."

•Through Foundational Altars: Ancestral worship and occult practices create spiritual legal grounds for these spirits to oppress future generations.

•Through Unbroken Covenants: If a family line has made pacts with demonic entities, those spirits continue to claim rights over descendants.

What Does the Bible Say About Ancestral Spirits?

The Bible doesn’t directly mention ancestral spirits, but it speaks about generational sin and iniquity, warning of the consequences of the sins of the forefathers on future generations.

•The iniquities of ancestors can impact their descendants, particularly when their actions go against God’s commandments.

-Exodus 20:5,“You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me…”

How to Break Free from the Influence of ancestral spirits through Jesus Christ.

•Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior

Salvation is the foundation of true freedom. When you surrender your life to Jesus, you become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the power of darkness loses its hold over you.

-2 Corinthians 5:17,"Therefore,if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation;old things have passed away;behold, all things have become new."

•Repent of any ancestral or personal involvement.

If you or your ancestors engaged in occult practices, idol worship, or rituals tied to ancestral spirits, confess these sins and renounce them before God.

-1 John 1:9 ,"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

•Break generational curses in Jesus' name.

Generational influences can persist if not broken. Declare that, in Christ, you are no longer under any curse (Galatians 3:13). Pray in Jesus' name, renouncing any inherited spiritual bondages.

-Galatians 3:13,"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us..."

•Destroy occult objects and connections

Remove any items (charms, amulets, books, or symbols) associated with ancestral worship or occultism (Acts 19:19).

•Engage in spiritual warfare through prayer and fasting

Persistent prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29) help break strongholds. Declare the blood of Jesus over your life and reject any lingering influence.

-Mark 9:29,"This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."

●Marine Spirits 

What are Marine Spirits?

Marine spirits are evil spiritual entities believed to operate from water bodies like seas, rivers, lakes, or oceans. These spirits are often associated with marine deities or spirits , with the power to control various aspects of life, including relationships, fertility, wealth, and spiritual influence.

How Does Marine Spirits Operate?

Marine spirits are believed to operate by:

•Captivity of souls: They are said to hold people in spiritual bondage by causing confusion, depression, or spiritual blindness, particularly through dreams and visions of water.

•Sexual temptations: Often associated with lust and sexual perversion, marine spirits are believed to manifest in dreams and relationships, leading people into immorality or addiction.

•Financial bondage: Marine spirits are said to manipulate economic success, leading to continual poverty or financial failure for individuals or families.

•Spiritual confusion: They confuse people spiritually, leading them away from God's truth through occult practices, idolatry, and false worship.

 What Does the Bible Say About Marine Spirits?

While the Bible doesn’t explicitly name marine spirits, it addresses the spiritual forces associated with water and evil powers.

•The great harlot seated on many waters, refers to demonic powers controlling kingdoms and nations through corrupt and immoral practices. It is often associated with marine spirits.

-Revelation 17:1-2,“Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, ‘Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.’”

•Leviathan is a sea creature often interpreted as a symbol of demonic forces or marine spirits. 

-Isaiah 27:1,“In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.”

How to break Free from the Influence of Marine spirits through Jesus Christ.

•Repentance and Renunciation: Repent of any involvement with occult practices, idolatry, or spiritual adultery (such as sexual sin or perversion) associated with marine spirits.

•Spiritual warfare: Through prayer, command the marine spirits to leave, and stand firm in the authority given through Jesus Christ.

•The Name of Jesus: Use the name of Jesus Christ to bind and cast out these spirits. His name is powerful over all spiritual entities.

•The Blood of Jesus: Apply the blood of Jesus to break the chains of captivity and bondage, and plead His blood to cleanse the soul from all defilement.

•Water Baptism: As a symbol of being washed from the powers of darkness, baptism can be a powerful declaration of breaking free from marine influences.

●Occultic Powers

What are occult powers?

Occult powers refer to supernatural forces or abilities that are believed to originate from sources other than God. These powers are often linked to practices such as witchcraft, sorcery, divination, astrology, and other forms of spiritual manipulation. Occult practices may seem harmless or even empowering to those involved, but they are in direct opposition to God's will and can bring spiritual bondage, destruction, and confusion.

Occult powers are often used to control, manipulate, or foretell the future, and are rooted in rebellion against God's authority. They may involve seeking guidance from spirits, using charms or spells, or calling upon demonic forces to influence outcomes in life. These powers are deceptive, promising peace, knowledge, or power, but ultimately lead people away from God's truth and into darkness.

 These practices include:

•Witchcraft & Sorcery – Using spells, charms, and rituals to manipulate events or people.

•Divination & Fortune-telling – Seeking hidden knowledge through astrology, tarot cards, or mediums.

•Necromancy – Attempting to communicate with the dead.

•Idolatry & False Worship – Revering objects, spirits, or deities instead of God.

•Covenants & Rituals – Entering into agreements with demonic entities for power, success, or protection.

How Do Occult powers Operate?

Occult powers function through deception and manipulation, enticing people into practices that seem harmless or beneficial but ultimately lead them away from God.

•Deception: Occult practices often disguise themselves as harmless or even beneficial, making it easy for individuals to be misled. They promise to give answers to life’s deepest questions or control over situations, but in reality, they lead people into bondage and confusion.

•Spiritual Influence: These powers operate through the influence of evil spirits or demonic forces that seek to control human minds, hearts, and actions. They can cause emotional instability, confusion, and even physical harm to those involved in occult practices.

•Contrary to God’s word: The essence of occult power is in direct contradiction to God's commandments. Occult powers encourage individuals to turn to forbidden sources like spirits, mediums, and false gods for answers.

•Unseen but powerful: While occult powers are often invisible, their effects are tangible. Those who participate in occult practices may experience strange occurrences, spiritual oppression, and a deep sense of inner turmoil.

What Does the Bible Say About Occult powers?

The Bible warns strongly against the practice of occult powers, condemning them as works of evil that are opposed to God's divine will. 

•God mocks the reliance on astrologers stargazers and prognosticators, emphasizing their powerlessness in the face of His judgment. No occult power can stand against the sovereign will of God,they shall be as stubble and be consumed by fire.

-Isaiah 47:13-14,"You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels;Let now the astrologers, the stargazers,and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from what shall come upon you.Behold,they shall be as stubble, The fire shall burn them ;They shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame...."

•God condemns any form of seeking spiritual power outside of His will—whether through divination, sorcery, witchcraft, or necromancy.These practices are not just discouraged—they are detestable to the Lord.

The Bible teaches that engaging in occult powers is an offense to God, and such practices open doors to demonic influence, leading to spiritual ruin.

-Deuteronomy 18:10-12,"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times,or an enchanter,or a Witch,or a charmer,or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard,or a necromancer.For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord..."

How to Break Free from the Influence of Occult powers through Jesus Christ

•Repentance

Turning away from sin and renouncing any involvement in occult practices.

Put away all occult symbols from your home.

- In Acts 19:18-19, people who were once involved in magic publicly burned their books and renounced their former way of life.

•Confession and renouncing the occult.

If you’ve participated in occult practices, confessing these sins to God is crucial. This involves renouncing all involvement with spirits, mediums, witchcraft, or any occult practices. 

-1 John 1:9 assures us that when we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

•Resisting the Enemy

After confessing and repenting, resist the enemy’s attempts to re-enter your life. Stand firm in your identity in Christ and declare your authority over any evil power that tries to influence you.

-James 4:7,"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil,and he will flee from you.

•Embrace the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is a mighty source of strength and guidance.The Holy Spirit empowers believers to stand firm in the truth and live victorious lives over the powers of darkness.

-Acts 1:8,"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you...."

•Claim your victory in Christ

Jesus has already defeated the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection. When you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are united with Him in His victory over evil.

You are no longer under the influence of occult powers because you are now in Christ, and the Holy Spirit in you is greater than any force of darkness.

-Colossians 2:15,"And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly,triumphing over them in it."

•Fellowship and Support

Engage in a strong Christian community. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and help you grow in your faith. 

-Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us not to neglect meeting together, but to encourage one another.

●Lying spirits

 What Are Lying Spirits?

Lying spirits are demonic entities that deceive people, leading them away from God’s truth. Their mission is to manipulate, twist reality, and cause people to believe falsehoods. These spirits operate in opposition to the Spirit of Truth, which is the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).

-John 16:13,"However,when He,the spirit of truth,has come,He will guide you into all truth..."

How Do Lying Spirits Operate?

Lying spirits work by:

•Deception – They distort the truth to lead people astray.

-2 Corinthians 11:13-14,"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. No wonder! Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

•False Prophecies – They influence false prophets to speak lies in God's name.

-Jeremiah 23:16,"Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart,not from the mouth of the Lord."

•Accusation and condemnation – They accuse believers to make them doubt their faith.

-Revelation 12:10,"Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of God, and the power of His Christ have come,for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night ,has been cast down."

•Fear and confusion – They create fear, making people question God's promises.

-2 Timothy 1:7,"For God has not given us a spirit of fear,but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

What does the bible say about lying spirits?

•When people reject God's truth, He may allow them to follow deception as a form of judgment.

Example:A lying spirit was allowed to deceive King Ahab’s prophets, leading him to destruction.

- 1 Kings 22:22-23 ,"The Lord said to him, ‘In what way?’ So he said, ‘I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And the Lord said, ‘You shall persuade him and also prevail. Go out and do so.’ Therefore look! The Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these prophets of yours, and the Lord has declared disaster against you.”

How to break free from the Influence of Lying spirits through Jesus Christ

•Submit to God and resist the Devil

Surrender your life to Jesus and reject all forms of deception.

-James 4:7 ,Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

•Walk in the truth of God's word.

Study the Bible daily to discern truth from lies.

-John 8:32 ,“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

•Pray for Deliverance

Ask Jesus to break every chain of deception and deliver you from evil.

-Psalm 34:17 ,"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."

•Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit empowers believers to walk in truth and reject lies.

-Ephesians 5:18 ,"Be filled with the Spirit."

•Renounce and rebuke every Lying spirit.

Speak with authority in Jesus' name, rejecting every deceptive influence.

-Luke 10:19 ,"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.”

● Demonic Spirits

What Are Demonic Spirits?

Demonic spirits are fallen angels under Satan’s command.

They are the forces of darkness controlled by the Devil.

How Do Demonic Spirits Operate?

They influence people by:

•Tempting individuals into sin (Genesis 3:1-5).

-Genesis 3:1b," Has God indeed said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

•Oppressing and possessing people.

-Matthew 8:28,"When He had come to the other side,to the country of the Gergesenes,there met Him two demon-possessed men,coming out of the tombs,exceedingly fierce...."

•Deceiving and leading people away from God .

-2 Corinthians 11:14-15,"And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if His ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose evil will be according to their works."

What Does the Bible Say About Demonic Spirits?

•Jesus demonstrated His authority over demons, proving God’s kingdom is greater.

-Matthew 12:28,"But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God,surely the kingdom of God has come upon you."

•Even demons believe in God and tremble, showing their awareness of His supreme power.

-James 2:19,"You believe that there is one God.You do well.Even the demons believe- and tremble!

•Demons can possess people in numbers (Legion), controlling their lives.

-Luke 8:30,"And he said,"Legion ,"Because many demons entered him.

•Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

-John 8:36,"Therefore if the son makes you free,you shall be free indeed. 

•Resist the devil and he will flee.

-James 4:7,"Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 

•Use the authority of Jesus’ name to cast out demons.

-Mark 16:17,"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons..."

•Pray and fast for deliverance -Matthew 17:21,"However,this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

•Stay filled with the Holy Spirit.

-Ephesians 5:18b,"But be filled with the Spirit. 

● Territorial Spirits

What are territorial spirits?

These spirits are assigned to control certain regions or areas, often causing unrest, division, or chaos in communities or nations.

These are demonic spirits assigned to specific regions, cultures, or nations to resist God’s work.

How Do Territorial Spirits Operate?

They operate by:

•Influencing governments, cultures, and people groups.

 -Ephesians 6:12,"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 

•Hindering the prayers and spiritual growth of believers .

-Daniel 10:13,"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, and behold,Michael, one of the chief princes,came to help me..."

•Controlling and promoting wickedness in cities. 

-Revelation 18:2,"And he cried mightily with a loud voice,saying," Babylon the great is fallen,is fallen ,and has become a place of demons,a prison for every foul spirit ,and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!  

What does the Bible say about Territorial Spirits?

•The Prince of Persia resisted God’s messenger, showing spiritual battles over territories.

-Daniel 10:13,"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days..."

•There are demonic and angelic forces assigned to different nations.

-Daniel 10:20,"Then He said,"Do You know why I have come to You? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia;and when I have gone forth,indeed the prince of Greece will come."

•Demons begged Jesus not to send them out of the region, showing territorial attachment.

-Mark 5:10,"Also he begged him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country."

How to Break Free from the Influence of Territorial spirits through Jesus Christ

•Pray with authority over your region.

 -Luke 10:19,"Behold,I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.. "

•Declare God’s word over your home, city, and nation.

-Jeremiah 29:7,"And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive,and pray to the Lord for it;for in its peace you will have peace.

•Engage in spiritual warfare through prayer and fasting.

-Danieal 9:3,"Then I set My face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications,with fasting.."

•Live righteously to close spiritual doors.

-Ephesians 4:27,"Nor give place to the devil."

•Walk in unity with other believers for regional breakthrough.

-Matthew 18:19-20,"Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask,it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name,I am there in the midst of them."

●Spirits of Divination 

What Are Spirits of Divination?

Spirits of divination, counterfeit God’s prophetic gifts, leading people into deception.

How Do Spirits of Divination Operate?

 They operate through:

•Fortune-telling, astrology, and occult practices.

-Leviticus 19:31,"Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits;do not seek after them to be defiled by them.."

•False prophecy and supernatural deception.

 -Matthew 24:24,"For false christ and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

•Manipulation through dreams, visions, and omens. 

-1 Samuel 28:7-8,"Then Saul said to his servants, "Find me a woman who is a medium, that I may go to her and inquire of her...."

What Does the Bible Say About Spirits of Divination?

•A person can be possessed by a spirit of divination. Example,a slave girl had a spirit of divination, but Paul cast it out in Jesus’ name.

-Acts 16:16,"Now it happened ,as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us....."

•God forbids all forms of divination, calling them an abomination.

-Deuteronomy 18:10-12:There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or daughter to pass through the fire,or that uses divination..."

How to Break Free from the Influence of the spirit of divination through Jesus Christ

•Renounce all involvement in divination.

-2 Corinthians 6:17," Therefore, Come out from among them and be separate ,says the Lord.

•Destroy any objects linked to divination.

 -Acts 19:19,"Also ,many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all.

•Declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life.

 -Romans 10:9,"That if you confess with Your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in Your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,you will be saved.

•Walk in the truth of God’s word to discern deception. 

-Hebrews 4:12,"For the word of God is living and powerful,and sharper than any two-edged sword....and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 

•Be filled with the Holy Spirit for spiritual guidance.

 -John 16:13,"However,when He, the spirit of truth, has come,He will guide you into all truth...."

PRAYERS

1. I bind and cast out the spirit of divination from my life, sending it deep into the abyss where it can never return.In Jesus' name.

2. By the authority of Jesus, I bind and cast out every spirit of witchcraft, sending it to the bottomless pit where it will be silenced forever.In Jesus' name.

3. I command all witches, diviners, evil observers, enchanters, wizards, mediums, and necromancers who are working against me to be destroyed by the mighty hand of God. In Jesus' name.

4. I declare that every power or spirit hindering my angel of blessing from reaching me is destroyed. I claim divine intervention and release, that I may walk in the fullness of God's blessings. In Jesus' name.

5. Legions of demons working against me, I bind you with hot chains and fetters.I declare that you have no authority over my life, and you shall be rendered powerless.In Jesus" name.

6. I bind every strongman attached to my life, rooted in my foundation, and command you to be uprooted and cast out by the power of God.In Jesus ' name.

7. I bind and cast out every demon on an evil assignment against me. They are rendered powerless, and their works are nullified by the Spirit of the living God.In Jesus’ name.

8. I command every force of darkness in the heavens and on the earth to tremble before the Lord. I decree that they shall release everything they have stolen from me, from the time of my birth until now,in the name of Jesus.

9. O Lord, I ask that You shut every gate through which Satan and his agents may gain access to my life. Seal every opening and protect me under the shadow of Your wings.In Jesus' name.

10. Heavenly Father, I pray that my life may be blameless and pure before You. May I walk as a child of light, without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, reflecting Your glory in all that I do.In Jesus' name.

11. Demon-possessed birds, animals, or sea creatures that attack me in my dreams, I command you to catch fire and perish in the name of Jesus.

12. I declare that I overcome principalities, powers, the rulers of darkness of this age, and spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places by the mighty power in the name of Jesus. 

13. Lord, I choose not to seek the counsel of astrologers, stargazers, or monthly prognosticators. I will rely solely on Your wisdom and guidance for clarity and direction in my life.In Jesus' name.

14. I release myself from every bondage, from every spiritual or physical chain that has tied me to a place or situation. I break free and walk into the freedom Christ has given me.In Jesus' name.

15. Father, may my lifestyle and the works of my hands not provoke You to anger. May I live in a way that pleases You, always seeking to honor and glorify Your name.In Jesus' name.

16. I pray that my enemies will experience bitterness in their souls, sorrow in their spirits, and be driven into darkness by the power of God. In Jesus' name.

17. I bind and cast out familiar spirits from my life, sending them into the depths of Hades, never to return again.In Jesus' name.

18. I bind and cast out any lying spirit that operates through my mouth, commanding it to be silenced. I will speak only truth and righteousness from this moment forward. In Jesus' name.

19. Whoever practices and uses witchcraft against me shall perish. Their evil works shall not stand, and they shall never rise again to fight against me. In Jesus' name.

20. Powers on the waters that entice me to sin or lead me into immorality, I render you powerless and  declare that you have no influence over my thoughts or actions.In Jesus' name.
